CUSTOM FIT

CUSTOM FIT brings the viewer into the feeling of what it is to have something made specifically for you. That bespoke fit–that feeling where you can’t imagine someone knew you that well, the detail is so...specific. It’s a luxury to have something done right. The kindest most stylish man, Blair Underwood shows you how. A star that showed up on set and knew the entire crew’s name within the hour. A true class act.

SUPERSTAR

This series of short films showcases the messages of young superstars who are using creativity and positive impact to make the world a better place. Featuring Barbie Ferreira, Madame Gandhi, Le1f and Rachelle Vinberg - this group of creatives blew me away with their authentic humanity and unique expressions of how they are changing the world.

MAKING OF ROSE 31

Known as the rarest rose in the world, the Rose Centifolia from Grasse is the key element of Le Labo Rose 31. Every year in May, hand pickers walk the fields in the morning, harvesting one flower at a time. Founders Eddie Roschi and Fabrice Penot are dear friends who invited me to join this incredibly special journey. Standing in the dewy rose fields in Grasse at dusk, as the sun set and the neighboring church bells rang (seemingly just for that singular memory) will remain something I hold dear forever.

BACK TO YOU

LOVERS

Directed by: Kiki Allgeier
Starring: Isobel and Jessica Cole
Director of Photography: David Ambrose

I LOVE HOTELS. And one of my absolute most favorite hotels in the world is the Parker Palm Springs Hotel. This was a job that I did very early in my career when 5D's just rocked the market and made everyone lose their shit. I took on this monster of a project with three of my talented friends and we ventured to the hotel for ten days to film. We didn't step foot outside the property once. These films were made to show people what it actually FELT like to be at the magical land that is the Parker. This will forever remain one of the most special jobs I was able to be a part of.

In cooperation with the Swiss Institute, Lawrence Weiner teamed up with cinematographer Kiki Allgeier to realize WATER IN MILK EXISTS, a fresh skin flick that challenges both artistic and pornographic conventions. The film contains quotations from the artist’s children books, austere dialogues on string theory, animations, as well as a lot of carnal action.

A major figure in conceptual art, the American Lawrence Weiner uses words as an artistic material of the first order. Since the early Seventies, transcriptions of his "statements" on walls have been his main medium, but he also works with several other media, like video, film, performance, installations and drawings. In his most recent film, Dirty Eyes, produced by Charles de Meaux, Lawrence Weiner talks to us about art and poetry, and above all of the city he loves: New York.
