Kiki Allgeier is a Los Angeles based filmmaker specializing in work that makes you feel.
She has shot in over 15 countries with the hope of understanding the human experience from as many cultures as possible.
After selling out every show at the prestigious Leipzig Documentary Film Festival, her feature length documentary titled FEMMEfille, featuring the French Pop Icon, Isabelle Caro, went on to have a theatrical run in Germany as well as being shown on the celebrated ARTE, ZDF, YLE and SVT television stations.
In addition to her documentary work she has written two hour-long drama pilots, a feature film and has helmed branded and commercial campaigns for Lexus, Prada, Adidas, Le Labo, Ray-Ban, and many others. Coming to film and television via the art world where Allgeier worked closely with one of the father’s of conceptual art, Lawrence Weiner - Allgeier brings with her a unique perspective on both the structure of storytelling and the moving image itself. The common threads in her work are tactile and cinematic imagery seamlessly paired with honest and accessible portraits of the people in front of her lens.
Allgeier loves to travel, tells pretty bad jokes, loves a good dance party and most of all she loves watching a making films and television.
